DARTON, 58 HOLBORN HILL 1812 A small volume, bound in full leather. Measuring approx 18cm x 10.5cm x 1.7cm. The front and rear boards are cracked to spine edges and are hanging on by a thread. Chipped to top and bottom of spine and corners, with small loss. There are a couple of cracks/creases to spine. The leather is worn and scuffed. Internally the endpapers are chipped and split to inner edges. There is a previous owners bookplate to inside front board (William Leaf), the name has been scored out and re-named in pencil. There is some pen to top corner of inside front board. The front and rear endpapers, frontis and title page are chipped to inner edges and are almost detached. Contents are cracked/cracking in a couple of places and contents lie a little steppily. Pages have some thin wrinkles and creases. Pages are thumbed and outer edges are a bit bumped with some tiny creases and nicks. read more
