This was the catalog for an exhibit of Eskimo ivory curated by the National Museum of the American Indian in 1980. A softbound book of 127 large pages jammed with wonderful b/w and color photos of the best ivory cravings with some of the artists themselves. Items include whales, helmets, sleds, dogs, caribou, pipes, people, etc.
