From a fabulous estate at a wonderful old home, this beautiful teapot is unmarkedexcept for the piece number in gold on the base - 7124 -- as shown in last pic. It was produced in the 1960's or '70's by Ardalt Lenwile China in Japan (and the sticker on the base of one piece listed separately says hand painted). The fine white china is trimmed in gold & decorated with a stunning and colorful pattern of strawberries and butterflies with bees, lady bugs, etc. A wonderful pattern for spring and summer entertaining! This piece measures approximately 5" in diameter (9" from spout through handle) x 6 5/8" tall. It seems to be in excellent condition with no damage, wear, or indications of use -- except that it may have a little dust or dirt from having been displayed in a china cabinet in its previous home.
