A charming porcelain trinket box with musical works inside the lid, playing the opening phrases from "Jerusalem". It has a red poppy in the centre of the lid, and inside the box on the base is a painted poppy and the words "Lest we forget". The maker is Ardleigh Elliott, and this is part of a series made for the RBLI called In Flanders Fields, by Margaret Stevens. The music box is technically used, because I am not the first seller of it, but actually it is unused, complete with its original packaging, and has a Certificate of Authenticity. I have played the music part and it works. The music box is 6 cms (2.3 inches) tall and 8 cms (3.1 inches) in diameter at the widest part of the bowl. It weighs 230 grams before packaging. This item is in as new condition, and would make a delightful gift. This item has a low starting price and no reserve. I have had several customers in the past who have missed an item because they intended to place a bid at the last minute and couldn't log on in time to bid. Avoid a similar disappointment by placing your bid now. I will take time to package this item with great care using a combination of new and recycled materials, in order to ensure that it reaches the successful bidder in the same condition it leaves me. It will be despatched within 2 working days of my receipt of cleared Please note
