Aria SB1000 RI, AS NEW, See-thru Black, Made in Japan Welcome to the auction for my Japanese-built Aria SB1000 re-issue bass. These basses became legendary in the 1980's, with a whole host of high-profile endorsees, including Cliff Burton of Metallica. Aria built these basses in the Matsumoku factory in Japan and the quality of their workmanship often outshone the major US-based manufacturers. This bass is no exception; it is an extremely accurate Japanses re-issue of the original insturment, with all the features that made the original such a great bass: Ebony fingerboard 34" Scale 5-piece neck, with through-neck construction Patented Aria single pickup, with rotary tone selctor, tone and volume controls and on/off LED Bridge is machined from solid brass Low action and great tone - very versatile. The bass will be supplied in a well used hard case. It is in superb condition, as can be seen by the fact that the plastic covering is still on the pickup. A few points to note please: I would much prefer either a local-pickup or a pickup in central London for this item I will only sell this item to a UK-buyer - this is final with no exceptions I prefer Paypal, but will accept cash on collection.
