The powerful 0969 Studiolog slide rule by Aristo. A very good specimen.The Studiolog is a powerful, end-of-an-era slide rule, carrying 29 scales. The slide movement tends to be much smoother than that of the "other" German powerhouse rule. Perhaps it was a secret in the polymer composition. The slide and cursor both move smoothly.A blind stamp, difficult to photograph, reads 2FX2, suggesting that the slide rule was manufactured in Hamburg in 1969.This rule is in very good condition. Gently used, with minor scratches and spots of dirt. The silver edging on Aristo cursors of this era was positioned in a location where it tended to rub off, a strictly cosmetic condition visible in the photos. The rule is otherwise in very good condition.Both the original gray case and the plastic insert are included. A paperboard name insert, with a prior owner's name neatly written upon it, may be retained or removed, as you prefer. See photos.Original instructions are included.
