Armin Buchterkirch 1859 - 1919 This auction is for a wonderful painting by listed Rochester, New York artist Armin Buchterkirch. This painting is a watercolor that measures 7" x 11". It is framed in its original frame and mat behind glass and tfore the painting is in perfect original condition. T is no damage or repairs to the painting or frame. This painting is signed and dated in the lower left hand corner; "A. Buchterkirch 1888" Born in Corning, NY on Nov. 25, 1859. Buchterkirch lived all his life in Rochester, NY. He studied painting in Munich. Winters were often spent in California and the Bermudas. He died in Rochester on Feb. 28, 1919. His work includes portraits and landscapes. Exh: Rochester Art Club, 1882-1902. In: Peabody Museum (Salem). This is a great find and will make a wonderful addition to your art collection. NO RESERVE!!!
