ARMOR BRONZE 7" DUTCH BOY AND GIRL BOOKENDS 1920s 6.5 LBS. GREAT PATINA! MINT This set of Armor Bronze bookends measures 7" high by 7" across by 3.5" wide. They depict a Dutch boy and a Dutch girl. The details on this set are beautifully executed. Their faces express their character, just rich and solid in their presentation. They are bronze-jacketed, which is a mixture of white metals with a deep bronze patina, and filled with a composition. They weigh in at 6.5 pounds for the set, so they are made to hold books. They have a wonderful timeworn patina with verde green accents. This set is not marked but I have seen similar ones manufactured by the the Armor Bronze Company from the 1920s. This set is in superb condition, with a beautiful timeworn patina, and no breaks or dents in the metal.. YOU CAN LOOK UP AROMER BRONZE ON GOOGLE
