For your consideration is a rare, original and unissued example of the US Army's new Multicam pattern ACU currently being worn by units in Afghanistan - Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). This uniform was originally tested by elements of the 4th Infantry Division in OEF, and is now currently being fielded by all units deployed to that theater. Although produced to US Department of Defence standards and issued by the US Army, the uniform will probably be short-lived and should probably be considered experimental as the Army is currently testing a series of camouflage designs that will replace the current pixelated Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This uniform is genuine, US government issue and came straight from a source at Fort Lewis, Washington. Very few of these uniforms will ever be available to collectors, as US Army regulations state they can only be worn in the combat theater. A description of both pieces follows. JACKET: Size Medium/Regular (37" to 41" chest).
