This is an old hand crank siren from the army, I found it among my dad's things, I'm assuming it's from WWII. He could have told me what it was used for, but he is no longer with us. It has a tag on it that reads, Sparton U.S.H. Made for chemical warfare service: U.S. Army. The Parks-Withington Co. It is very heavy. It has some dents in the horn part, but I'm sure they can be fixed by someone that knows how to do that. If anyone has any other info. on this siren, I would be happy to hear about it. It does work. Siren is sold as is, no refunds, no returns. I will accept paypal pmts. and US Postal money orders. Paypal pmt. is due within 48 hours of end of auction.,and money orders must be received within 5 business days. I package securely to avoid damage during shipping, but seller is not responsible for items damaged or lost through shipping by USPS.
