Booklet in very good++ to fine condition. 16 pagws. This is a Army & Navy "E" ward production booklet. Presented to the employees and mangement of the Leathem D. Smith Shipbuilding Co., Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, March 10, 1943. Shiping $3.00 in Continental U.S. and $10.00 for foreign, HI and AK. This booklet has 4 illustrations of photos. Leathem D. Smith Shipbuilding Company, Sturgeon Bay WI WWII Construction Record Leathem D. Smith Shipbuilding was a pre-war shipbuilder, specializing in Great Lakes vessels, in continuous operation since 1918. After the death of Leathem Smith in 1948, the yard was sold to its management and renamed Christy Corp. Manitowoc Corporation acquired Christy and two adjacent yards in 1967 and created Bay Shipbuilding Company. The yard is now the last active builder of large ships on the U.S. Great Lakes.
