This is a very gently pre-owned but unused, NEW as issued, official U.S. ARMY issue cold/wet weather parka. It is officially the PARKA, COLD WEATHER, UNIVERSAL CAMOUFLAGE and is NSN 8415-0. It was manufactured by VALLEY APPAREL; a prime government contractor. This is a genuine article and not a cheap import knockoff. It is rendered in the UNIVERSAL ACU DIGITAL camouflage patterned nylon fabric with GORETEX membrane and sealed seams. It matches the ARMY COMBAT UNIFORM (ACU). This jacket is designed to be worn by itself or over other thermal under layers. It is the outer most upper body layer in the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). This is size XL-REGULAR and fits heights 67"-71" and chests 45" and up. It features zippered front closure with snap over double storm flap, brimmed hood, Velcro flap pockets on the biceps, Velcro flap front cargo pockets, hidden slash hand warmer pockets, zippered underarm vents with snap flap, Velcro cuff adjustment tabs, draw cord waist with elasticized inner storm/powder flap and snap down rank insignia tab on the chest. This great jacket was obtained in a military living estate lot and was originally received as issue and never worn. It is in perfect new and unused condition; clean and sound with no rips, tears, damaged hardware or other signs of use. There is no fading of the shell. These
