The Army Quarterly Vol. 46 No. 2 August 1943 This magazine type publication was one of the better professional military journals of the period, very high quality writers and the articles are generally lengthy, authoritative and well written. The earlier issues are the best ones, they are also the most difficult to find today. This issue has many high quality article, the index is on the cover and scanned well enough to read the titles and authors, but much more is included, here are some of the better articles: France May-June 1940, Operations on the British Line of Communications (6 pages); Coming Events Part III, The French (3 pages); Signals in the Desert (6 pages); The Foreign Legion (French Foreign Legion in WWII - Norway 1940, France, Dakar, Eritrea, Syria, Western Desert - 4 pages); Italy's One Victory (Somaliland - 6 pages & map); Propaganda to Occupied Countries (5 pages); The Peninsular War (10 pages - Spain-Napoleonic Wars); plus much more... About 130 pages, condition is pretty good for one of these, spine & cover intact, spine faded and chipping at bottom, faded, some yellowing from age, but quite nice. We ship to US and most of western Europe, some countries are blocked but if interested contact me. It isn't personal, we have had difficulties shipping to France and Italy recently, but we will send to these countries
