RARE WWII Era National Guard ACME Full Vision Gas Mask Up for Auction is a WWII Era National Guard Acme Full Vision Gas Mask with filter cannister. This gas mask is in very good condition. All straps are present and intact. The rubber is soft and pliable. T are no tears in the rubber. It is marked Acme Full Vision facepiece No 6. The filter cannister is marked Chin Style No. 101 Military Cannister for CN or CS tear gas. T are a couple of small dings in the cannister. This is the type of mask that was used by the CD or Civil Defense Units and the US Army National Guard Units mainly for crowd and riot control. This mask was used from the late 1930's until the late 1950's. A very interesting item for a collector. NOTE: this gas mask is being sold in it's as is condition as a collectible item only.
