Vietnam MP Advisor Combat UniformOriginal Vietnam combat uniform worn by a US Army Military Police officer who was an advisor to the ARVN Military Police, as follows:Jacket: OD green slant pocket ripstop cotton construction with the following insignia: US mfg Captain and MP collar insignia, US mfg name tape, US mfg MAC-V patch, theatre made US ARMY tape, and Vietnamese made printed ARVN MP patch on right chest pocket. Size Small Short, mfg by BURGESS MFG INC. and dated 1968. Jacket has been tailored on sides for a smaller fit, still lightly starchedand shows average wash fading but no holes, repairs or other damage. Sleeves are still rolled up exactly as it was brought back from Vietnam.Trousers: OD green ripstop cotton construction with seven pockets, waist adjuster tabs, and brass zipper fly. Size Small Short, mfg by GLENN MFG CO. and dated 1968. Leg cuffs have been shortened and draw strings have been removed. Light wash fading and still lightly starched with no holes, repairs or other damage. Trousers are slightly darker color than the jacket.A detailed biography of the original owner will be provided with the uniform. All insignia is original to the uniform, with nothing missing or added. Nice piece for any Vietnam collection and is in fine condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
