US Army troops of WW2 loved the M-41 field jacket for its light weight, surprising warmth, and overall comfort, and it quickly became symbolic of the dogfaced, ground pounding GI of the Second World War. This US Army WW2 M-41 KHAKI FIELD COMBAT JACKET is in very good condition, with some dark brownish soiling at the middle left chest, some scattered brownish soiling to the left sleeve, a spot and a few thin lines of surface nicking at the left sleeve, a bit of scattered spot soiling to the right sleeve, some loose threading to the second from bottom front button, a bit of loose threading to the bottom front button, some light "browning" to the upper back, a spot of brownish soiling at the right back, two small surface nicks in the lower right back, a bit of reddish soiling at the middle back hem, and with some scattered age wear evident (most pictured). Otherwise, the jacket is in fine shape, with absolutely no rips, holes, tears, or other damage to the tough khaki 100% cotton construction. Most interestingly, it boasts a fully functional "TALON" metal front zipper, features a warm OD wool lining, and is complete with all of the original small khaki plastic buttons down the front, and at the cuff and waist adjuster straps.
