ARP 2600 Semi-modular Analog Synthesizer (Disassembled) From the ARP 2600 identification page at C.M.S. , I'm guessing that this machine is a 2600P V.3.0, or a 2601 V1.0. It has a 15.5 inch tall panel, the panel is gray with white lettering, and it has 4027-1 VCOs.But...t's more to it than that. It's been disassembled--and by this I mean only that the boards have been taken off the front panel. I didn't disassemble it, and really can't figure out why anyone would--I inherited it from an electronic music studio that I helped run in the 1980s/1990s. It has no cabinet--just the front panel, and no keyboard, but, other than that, everything seems to be t, including the reverb springs and speakers. The jacks are pc-mount, and I see no signs of stress on the boards around the jacks.It’s been sitting in my basement, waiting for me to get to it. I’ve decided that I’m never going to get to it, and that it might be a fun project for someone else.I'm selling this system "as is," with no guarantee of anything working—I have not ever even tried to hook it up and turn it on. In purely cosmetic terms, the boards are in terrific shape, with no signs of heat damage, broken traces, etc. The only board that shows any overt sign of modification (to my eye, anyway) is the Noise Generator/Voltage Processor/Sample and Hold (see below).The front panel is read more
