ARRIVAL OF WILLIAM PENN Commemorative Medallion * Measurements: 1 1/2 in. Diam x 1/8 in. H * From an old Philadelphia estate, obtained from one of the Colonial Societies in Philadelphia * Made of raised engraved (what I believe is) bronze * Commemorating the 250th anniversary of the arrival of William Penn in America * On the face of the medallion, surrounding William Penn, "1682-Arrival of William Penn in America-1932" On his left "AETIS.22" and below (what I believe is) "Kilenyi" On his right "1666" On the back of this HEAVY medallion is a wonderful raised scene of William Penn shaking hands with a Native American surrounded by tribal members in a marvelous wooded area * Fine condition, obviously has been protectively wrapped up in a drawer for years * Really Nice!!! * Something VERY special for the history buff or collector! * Don't let this one get away!
