THIS COULD BE A REAL TREASURE, I AM UNEDUCATED ABOUT THIS ITEM... I will do the best I can to describe this item. I ran across the picture at an estate sale and thought it was really cool. I just thought I would see what it would do here. It has several arrowhead "pieces" Some of the pieces, I don't believe are arrowheads, but just added to finish the picture. Many are! Most are broken, but you can see the detail on them enough to see that they were authentic arrowheads. There are a few missing pieces. The dimensions are 18"x20"x1" We do live in an area where arrowheads have been found, but I can not guarantee that the item is a local item or any authenticity of the item. I do not know where it originated from. The actual Indian head is a carved piece of rock or other unknown substance, painted. It is very detailed. I have added several pictures and will send any others requested. I have no idea which tribe or any history about the picture. It is definately a conversation piece. The picture itself has arrowheads and other rocks (unknown source of the rocks) glued to a piece of thick plywood type board. It has a burlap cover tacked and the arrowheads are glued to the burlap. The picture weighs 22.4 lbs and I will only ship this picture through Fedex or UPS, because of the packaging that will be required to keep it protected. read more
