The collection of arrowheads, scrapers, drills, and birdpoints were found in 1972 on the Brazos River floodplain near Allens Creek in Texas. The arrowheads were found during field investigations for a planned Nuclear Power Plant for Houston Power & Light. It was established during the archaelogical investigation that the area had been an Indian settlement dating back as far as 900 ad.
