Mr. Clements owned and excavated the well documented Cherry Valley Mounds and studied extensively along side Greg Perino. His collection and their findings w featured in 1967 in the Central States Archeological Journal. Much of what I will be featuring is well documented and some of it is even pictured. The last picture is of the Clements collection! This spectacular piece is a whopping 3 7/16" in length. Made of the Beautifully patanized highly sought after Outstanding Burlington chert/flint.Outstanding style and craftsmanship from the Early Archaic period 9,000-6,000 b.p.
