ART DECO 1920's CELLULOID BOUDOIR VANITY CLOCK BY LUX Description This lovely mantel/vanity clock was made in the 1920's by Lux Clock Company, founded in 1917, in Waterbury, Conn. Used in the boudoir as a vanity clock or on a shelf or mantel, this clock: has a brass bezel and 2 inch gold paper dial is made of green and blue celluloid with blue rhinestones has a 30 hour movement and keeps very good time (it has been running for 2 weeks) measures 3-1/4 inches wide and 3 inches high has an easel back is pictured in AMERICAN CLOCKS , Volume 3, by Tran Duy Ly on page 327.
