Art Deco 1920s Woods & Son Rhead Bursley Ware Vase Presented is a wonderful, earthenware vase designed by Frederick Rhead for the H. J. Woods & Son pottery company during the 1920s. This Art Deco piece is Bursley Ware, a trademark term coined by Rhead while working for H.J. Woods & Son. This vase is in an interesting form, with two thin handles on either side. The beautifully painted piece is designed with earthy shades. The underside is marked Baghdad and Bursley Ware. This piece is in excellent condition. T are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, no splits and no repairs. The vase measures 7 1/8 inches tall.
