A 1930's figural Parrot lamp. The lamp measures approx. 15 in. high and 8 1/2 in. at it's widest. The Parrot is cast iron, old color washed and cold painted. The body of the lamp is a brass color metal and has a glass ball in the center of the lamp that looks like serious vaseline glass with shots of stained glass types of amber in it. wow! It's very pretty and it's been around a long time. The wiring needs replaced as it feels a little brittle to me, but the lamp is in pretty nice condition. I can't find a makers mark on it anyw but near the Parrots feet is the mark "PAT APLD FOR". This item doesnt come along very often. It was in my friends elderly fathers things. Take Note; Pictures 4 & 5 have been "brightened" to show the pattern better. It's not that bright in reality. This is as is .. I have described it to the best of my ability. We are careful packers and also we don't make money on shipping so you can feel safe bidding with us. I do require insurance on this type of item as it's breakable and not easily replaceable.
