This is a guaranteed all-original (except for electric cord) art deco table lamp.It came from one of the Allegheny County Airport offices near Pittsburgh PA in the 30's.Although the lamp in pics appears purple-ish when shown lit, it truly is a deep blue cobalt in reality...as in last pic (unlit close-up).I tried to show all sides, and although t are some small amounts of missing silvering (mostly on windshields), at is ALL original, and 95% tLight spots of surface pitting exist, but are so light that they don't photograph, and the tail fin has lost some of it's plating and a film of dust-type rust is showing.I've had this lamp on my desk for years, and never would consider re-plating because so much of the orig. plating is still t, and frankly it looks just great as is.It works fine, and the original cobalt glass insert measures 9 1/2" long, and is indamaged.Wingspan is 13 1/4" Dollar for scale. ....................................................................................................PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BIDDING: If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail us & we will do our best to answer.
