Up for auction is a wonderful art deco Cherry amber bakelite necklace and earrings. This necklace has oval shaped beads and a rich cherry amber color.These beads were tested with simichrome and release a chemical scent when rubbed. They are bakelite When the bead is held to the light, the center is visibly opaque.The necklace and earring together weigh 52 grams.The beads are graduated in size with the largest measuring 24.66mm x 17.53mm. The smallest bead measures 12.78mm x 13.37mm. The earrings each have a cherry amber bakelite bead measuring18.76mm x 13.37mm. The earrings are vintage 12k gold filled screw backs.
