Fine Art Deco style showing deco lines, colors, and materials. From the historic 1933 Chicago World's Fair! General Electic tie-in, it is from the GE Pavilion and showcases their new bakelite-like plastic, moldable textolite. A box collector's piece, this would look equally at home on a vanity, an end table or an executive's desk. Measures approximately 5 X 3 1/8" and 3 1/4" to top of knob. Colors are black and mint ice cream green. Legs and knob are metal (likely chrome plated) and have lost most of their mirror finish, but are still silvery. No chips, nicks or cracks, just less than normal and expected surface wear for this material of 80 yrs
