On the back there is a laurel wreath with the Kings 'EVIIIR' initials and Coronation crown. This mug is square shaped with moulded corners. The handle has a pretty moulded flower detail and around the rim and handle there is gilt highlighting. Underneath bears the Royal Stafford backstamp. It measures approx. 3.5" tall by just under 5" wide. There is a small old nibble on the back rim of the mug and the usual age related crazing with a possible fine small hairline to the rim.
