In perfect condition with no chips or cracks, this is an interesting example of Art Deco era Noritake china. All pieces are painted with a blue luster paint with radiating black lines. The figural top cigarette jar measures 5 ¾" tall and features a stylishly dressed and coifed lady of the flapper era correctly holding her fan in one hand and a cigarette in the other. This comes with a matching 7 ½" diameter under plate, a 2 ¾" tall matchbox holder, and a 3 ½" diameter ashtray with attached cigarette rest. T is virtually no scuffs and only very minor paint wear. All pieces, except the match holder, are stamped in green "Noritake, M. Hand Painted, Made in Japan ," and the jar is additionally marked No. 25920" and also in Japanese. No reserve.
