Vintage Shabby Chic Buffet Sideboard Painted in Annie Sloan Beautiful vintage Art Deco sideboard lovingly hand painted in Annie Sloan - Duck Egg Blue. A fabulous solid piece with some wonderful detailing. The painted woodwork has been distressed in areas of natural wear this adds an extra dimension to the piece and highlights its unique features. It has then been finished with natural wax to increase durability. This sideboard is brimming with classic Art Deco style from the curved edges and symmetrical design. The piece has two drawers and a single cupboard with a single shelf and double door opening. These are good deep spaces ideal for storing your favourite china or hiding away and wayward bits and bobs. It has fabulous angled flat feet and smoothed rounded edges on the side pillars, the frames around the doors and drawers, on the plinth at the back of the piece and the edge of the top . The top portion of the pi ece which, houses the drawers is slightly smaller than the rest of the piece meanin g that a lip is created between the edge of the outer edge of the drawer casing and the top of the cupboard below - this in turn has been decorated with a double rounded trim detail. The look is completed with the original decorative brown Bakelite handles. Would sit equally comfortably in just about any room in the house - so versatile! Equally at home in a period property or a modern home with an eclectic edge.
