Fantastic Art Deco period ceramic lidded dish or turine with a hand painted design of houses in a landscape - the dish is named on the base ' Red Roof ' and is reminiscent of the Clarice Cliff design of the same name. There is no makers name on the base so quite difficult to identify. The dish has a base colour of cream with hand painted trees, houses and sky. There is typical Art Deco styling throughout including the lid handle which is quite distinctive. The handles are of chrome . The dish is approx 24cm x 12 cm x 15 cm . This measurement is to the tips of the handles. It is in good condition generally. One of the handles is a little loose, there is some light wear to the design and some light crazing to the surface. There is a chip at the back on the foot which is not too noticeable and could be easily remedied as it is quite shallow. Will be sent well packed.
