These fabulous Rock Crystals are from the 1930's, or possibly earlier! The original necklace was broken, with missing crystals so what I am offering is a lovely combination of faceted rondelle rock crystals, and simulated pearls. These crystals are absolutely gorgeous! Hopefully the pictures will show just how beautiful this necklace set is. Rock Crystal is a natural gem. It is natural clear quartz and tiny imperfections in the quartz can sometimes be seem with magnification. Rock Crystal is very sparkly and is often cut with many, many facets to catch the light. Also, there are many shapes and sizes of Rock crystals. DATE: These crystals were shown in a 1932 WHOLESALE JEWELRY CATALOGUE, as I have a picture from thecatalogue verifying the authenticity of these crystals. MEASUREMENTS: Length is 161/2inches and I am including a 3 1/4" extender so it can be lengthened. Also included are pierced earrings, (there were enough loose crystals to make them). It is strung on silver tone plastic coated wire. The necklace has a silver tone "J" hook clasp, and the earrings are silver tone kidney style hooks. The earring drop measures 1 inch. The crystals measure from the largest about 12mm to the smallest about 6 1/2. The simulated pearls measure 6mm and 5mm. There are 31 Rock Crystals, graduating in size. CONDITION: The crystals are amazing.
