B-11 Description You are viewing a most attractive example of Art Deco We are offering a fabulous Sugar Bowl Crafted By: the highly respected and celebrated - Liberty and Co of London, the chief designer being Archibald Knox Origin: England Date: 1920 Hammered pewter Background Information : Never a majority pleasure in Britain, coffee drinking attracted the wealthy and fashionable, whose demand for coffee sets in up to the minute styles and finishes stimulated many top manufacturers. Coffee was generally served in the living room, so it was essential that it was stylishly presented.
