This is a lovely art glass fitter lamp shade from my childhood home. As the story goes, it came out of a home in Milwaukee in the early 1900's. I cannot identify the maker of this piece as it does not have any manufacturer markings of any kind. I was told by a relative that it was Kew Blas but from my research, I tend to think it might be a Quezal piece. The shade is in excellent condition with no marks, chips or heat damage. The color is beautiful. It is decorated with green pulled feathers on white with a gold inside. It is 5" tall, the scalloped end is 3 1/4 " across and the fitter is 2 1/8". Some of the early Quezal pieces were not signed and often confused with Tiffany and Stueben. Forms are found with the characteristic pulled feather design per "Art Glass by John Shuman III". Most often, these shades were made in the states from the late 1800's to the early 1900s. Hope these pictures are helpful. I do not ship international. Thank you for viewing.
