Art Itzchak Tarkay Hand Signed Numbered Serigraph Itzchak Tarkay "Untitled". Signed and numbered in pencil in the lower margin serigraph. This is numbered 328/350. Beautiful representation of Tarkays use of color to evoke emotion. This beautiful original serigraph is by Israeli artist, Itzchak Tarkay (1935-2012). Untitled. Image dimensions are 34.5" x 26.5". Framed dimensions are 44.5" x 37.5". Conservation framed with museum quality archival materials, this work is set in a remarkable gold frame. Completed with white wrapped mat board. Both serigraph and frame are in excellent condition. Itzchak Tarkay was born in 1935 in Subotica on the Yugoslav-Hungarian border. As well as being an acrylic painter and watercolorist, Tarkay was a master graphic artist and his rich tapestry of form and color was achieved primarily through the use of the serigraph. In his serigraphs, many colors are laid over one another and used to create texture and transparency.
