This chair is really in excellent condition. It was aquired from an estate sale where the house was full of art and furniture from around the world. I found no makers labels on this wonderful chair but I suspect it may be from sweden by the styling and by the other pieces she had that were from Sweden. Wonderful wood topped with what may be leather or perhaps a high quality vinyl. I cant be certain without taking the chair apart and didnt want to risk it. This chair would be a perfect addition to any room of the house.
