ART NOUVEAU 10KT LOCKET RED RHINESTONES & CHAIN c. LATE 1800's Up for your bidding consideration is this beautifully detailed Art Nouveau/Art Deco 10KT gold-filled locket. The intricitaely desinged bail is stamped P.S. CO., which was first used in 1884. The locket measures 1 1/4" and is designed in great detail with scroll and free-flowing designs of that era. The locket is also embellished with small red glass rhinestones lined in a marquise sort of fashion, which surround a raised gold Art Deco design, embellished again with red rhinestones making up a floral motif. T is so much beautiful detail that I really don't think the photos can capture it. However, I'm not so sure my description did any better of a job!! The gold chain is made up of interlocking round 1mm links and measures 18". These pieces as a whole are in excellent condition, with minimal wear on the backside, and given their age.
