Wonderful Art Nouveau Knife Made in a period from 1890 - 1910 . Made in Germany and marked " Germany" on the blade for S & A Co. New York Note in picture 4 the name S&A. Co. and in picture 5, the word "Germany" which is very hard to read, but t . Nude lady on both sides of knife . The nude has one hand on her breast. This knife is to be used as a watch fob. It has a hook to attach to the watch chain Marked on the hook " gold top" . After doing some research, I see that gold top is really gold, not gold filled or rolled gold. The gold is thick on this knife, and looks as if it wraps around another metal. It measures 1 1/4" without the hook and 1 1/2" with it. It is 5/8" wide without measuring the blades that show on each side. One blade is a knife, and the other a nail file With the blades open, it measures 4 1/2" from tip to tip. Condition: The knife is in good conditon . T is a small dent on one side at the lady's stomach. T is very little wear, with all details raised and in very good condition. The blades have been polished. T is a little play when closed in the nail file blade. It does shake a little and moves out about 1/16" .
