I found this at an old dig out type of estate sale. I researched and found it was a mystery swing clock. The statue would hold the clock in her right hand. In around 1910 a company in Germany named Junghans produced this art nouveau clock statue in spelter. Since then it has been reproduced many are from the 1930's. Coming from the home it was in I would say it is old. I have an ingraham clock listed and a quarter sawn oak cival war mantel from same estate. Like I said a real dig out. Some of the repros are made of brass. It is made of painted splelter signed on the back by her feet but can not make out. She is on a turned wooden base. You can see in picture 7 that there is a hole for part of the clock in her hand. It was not broken off. One can still buy the clock to restore her. It looks like someone tried to fix the chip paint areas they first put a white primer on some of her chips but never got around to painted them very minor. 12" tall with base. One finger on her left hand is missing. Good luck. I am starting very low. I have seen others complete go for thousands. Do research its an interesting piece may be a great sleeper.
