-STYLE : Art Nouveau -TECHNIQUE : Manufacture Dust pressed clay tile using a mould & horsehead press- then burned- Decoration Relief and Tubelined molded majolica. Decorated with colored glazes. -COLORS: 3 -FACTORY : Marsden Tile Co. Ltd. 1889/55. – England -DIMENSIONS : 6" x 6" -APROXIMATE DATE: ca 1900 Relief molded tile with a central art nouveau design flower. Very stylish and nice watercolor like. Incredibly smooth surface. - CONDITION: This tile is in fine condition but has some details, so is not a first choice tile but a second choice one. But these details are tiny chips on edges or surface that are very easy to hide when installing using the apropiate grouting.We have more than one tile of this and we photographed a representative one so you will have an idea. If you are planning to but many of them tell us and we will send images . Cement on reverse was carefully removed so minimal traces are remaining. Surface, as you can see, has a firm color and smooth glaze. Only minimal scratches and tiny chips may be seen. Some a bit more noticeable on edges (as you can see in picture ) But this is quite usual for a more than 100 year old architectural piece.
