An early 20th century Art Nouveau Vase, made by the Royal Doulton factory and decorated by Lily Partington. The vase is nicely decorated with flowers and foliage and with beige and light blue and pale green within the panels. The vase itself is mainly lilac and blue coming down to a rich midnight blue to the bottom. The shape is typically Art Nouveau with slightly twisted handles and simulated jewels under the rim. The vase dates it to 1905 because of a lower case 'f' impressed at the base and there are various other letters and numbers and Lily Partington's impressed initials. The Royal Doulton impressed mark is also there and used from the early 20th century. The only fault, if it does warrant a fault, is that the glaze has built up and overrun the bottom lip.Height 20cm and width 10cm.International buyers might want to have their goods 'signed for' and the Royal Mail would have to charge £5.30.
