Auction for a superb quality hallmarked silver Art Nouveau hand held dressing table mirror marked Birmingham 1905 and made by Cornelius Saunders and Francis Shephard. The bevelled mirror has staining and fogging. The foliage design on the silver is very typical of the period and there is only minor wear in a few areas from constant cleaning. There is a seperate silver band around the mirror which is also hallmarked with the Lion and date letter. The main hallmarks are rubbed. The piece is 11" in length.
