Up for auction is this great bronze medal signed by "Armindo Viseu" and “A Ribeiro” on the obverse and by “A Canedo Gr” on the reverse . The obverse features Toulouse-Lautrec in relief. The reverse features one of his paintings - “ At the Moulin Rouge ” in relief. About Toulouse-Lautrec :Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec ( November 24 , 1864 – September 9 , 1901 ) was a French painter , printmaker , draftsman , and illustrator, whose immersion in the decadent and theatrical life of fin de siècle Paris yielded an oeuvre of provocative images of modern life. About “ At the Moulin Rouge ”: At the Moulin Rouge is an oil-on-canvas painting by French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec . It was painted between 1892 and 1895 . It is one of a number of works by Toulouse-Lautrec depicting the Moulin Rouge cabaret built in Paris in 1889 .
