This excellent copy is #404 of 1000 and is one of three that comes from my brother-in-law's vast Star Wars collection. The proceeds of this sale will go to his widow. The book has been opened only slightly to take photos, but the book binding is very tight, which indicates that it has never been read. There is some fabric loss on the corners of the book, either from shelf wear or during manufacturing. The #2 copy is listed for $1,050, so this is your opportunity to acquire one for your collection at a great price!Signed on the limitation and following pages by 14 artists: Ralph McQuarrie, Moebius (deceased in 2012), Dave Dorman, Jon J. Kaluta, Bill Sienkiewicz, James Steranko, and Charles Vess.This beautiful book is contained in a purple quarter leather over purple cloth tray case that has a gilt stamped spine, gilt stamped top with attached artwork by Ken Steacy. The interior is velour lined and contains a white ribbon to help remove the book. The book is quarter leather over marbled silk with ribbed and gilt stamped spine and black titled and gilt cover.
