My pottery designs are inspired by the works of Teco, Rookwood, Grueby and other arts and crafts potters. I also am inspired by the architecture and designs of Frank Lloyd Wright, the Prairie Movement and the Art Deco period. The piece up for auction is a prototype of a design or glaze. Each piece is a one of a kind and completely hand made. Because it is a prototype you may find glaze flaws or structural imperfections. This is part of a being a hand made item. Any obvious flaws will be noted. This item is 5" tall and 4 1/4" wide. The glaze is a muted matte green on brown stoneware. T is some unfortunate glaze separation on the top of the vase (see picture). I call it unfortunate others may find it interesting. Nice classic mission design.
