This vintage item dates to around 1905-1910 or so and is the American Art Pottery Vase in the Arts and Crafts design. This has the Cucumber green glaze on the surface and is very much like the Grueby from the day, but I am certain it is a piece of Hampshire pottery, but I find no markings of any kind. This is a nice heavy/soid piece of pottery and appears to be hand thrown, you can feel the slight ridges on the surface. The glaze is a dark cucumber green with the small crystals visible, see photos. This measures 4-1/4" tall and is 4" at the widest. T is a very tiny little flake on the top edge, see photo, but no other problems, t is the drying crack (a manufacturing flaw and glazed over) on the bottom, see photos. I did get an email from a fellow Ebayer stating that this was almost certainly a piece of Hampshire pottery.
