A FINE ARTS AND CRAFTS TUDOR REVIVAL BARLEY TWIST SIDEBOARD WITH MIRRORED OVERMANTLE This is a fine example of an Arts and Crafts Tudor Revival solid oak sideboard with a particularly superbly carved overmantle with mirror. The overmantle can be separated from the sideboard top, has a large wide top for display and very beautifully carved supporting columns and mirror. The sideboard base has three deep drawers (one of which is the original cutlery drawer (although no longer has the baize lining) and two side cupboards with shelving. The sideboard has barley twist legs and stretchers. The cupboards and drawers have brass drop handles (one broken off) and brass keyholes/locks (filled in). The condition is commensurate with its age ( c. 1900). Dimensions: Mirror: 106cm wide x 25cm height Sideboard: 135cm width x 95cm height Total height (including overmantle) 155cm We are very fond of this piece and are only selling because we need the space.
