This Asahi Pentax Spotmatic SP is in stunning, true museum grade, original mint condition, and in full working order. The door seals and mirror foam are intact, but original. They should be replaced if this Spotmatic is to be used. The body is cosmetically and functionally flawless . Please see the photos. Body SN: 3681216. The original Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 lens is also in flawless, mint condition. The yellow cast that develops in all of these half century old Thorium glass lenses has been removed by exposure to intense UV light. The optics are as crystal clear and bright as when the lens left the factory. It is also physically and mechanically factory fresh, flawless. Please see the photos. Lens SN: 4125030. The original slip-on cap as shown is included. Note: The grainy look of the front element in the first photo is actually "digital noise" produced by my camera. The lens is perfectly clean and clear, and the coating is flawless. The forth photo is a much better representation. The original velvet lined soft leather case and strap are in similar condition and are included. Even the original plastic base plate protector is still present. Please see the photos.
