Lovely Ashbury resonator Mandolin with expensive and excellent sounding Fishman pickup installed. I've lowered the action a little and put a felt gasket under the cone as the originals had, and which makes it sound much better. The scale length on these is 15 inches, with a 35mm nut width which makes it easy to play. The action is 3mm at the 12th fret, which is higher than a standard Mandolin but easy to play. You just can't get the action very low on resonator instruments, they just buzz everywhere. Frets are in good condition and it plays well. I've got 11 to 40 strings on at present, you could go much lighter if you felt like it without spoiling the sound. Cheers David
