Here we have a Astercanthus magnus Shark Tooth that measures 9/16". This tooth was recovered from Ardley Quarry, Oxfordshire England.. Dates from the Middle Jurassic epoch, 172 million years old; Great Oolite Series, Transitional Layer. Nice conversation piece and a great specimen for any collection. This is an authentic fossil and has not been restored or altered in any way.
